Terms & Privacy

The short, plainly-worded version. Last updated April 14, 2026.

Terms of Service

By using GridGrabber ("the service", "the extension", "we", "us"), you agree to these terms. They're mostly common sense, but we've written them down so everyone's on the same page.

1. The subscription

GridGrabber is a paid Chrome extension available by monthly subscription. The current price is USD $8.00 per month, billed through Stripe. We may change the price with 30 days' notice; your next renewal reflects any change.

One active subscription entitles you to run GridGrabber on up to three Chrome installs simultaneously. You can revoke and swap devices anytime from your account page.

2. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel at any time from the Stripe portal linked on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. We do not prorate partial months.

We do not offer refunds on the first or any subsequent month. If something isn't working, email us at gridgrabber@gmail.com and we'll do our best to sort it out.

3. Acceptable use

GridGrabber is a tool; you're responsible for how you use it. You agree to use it in accordance with the terms of service of the sites you visit and with all applicable laws. Don't:

  • Use it to scrape sites that explicitly prohibit automated access
  • Collect personal information in violation of privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Share a single subscription with more than three devices via workarounds
  • Decompile, reverse-engineer, or resell the extension

4. Browser support

GridGrabber is a Google Chrome extension. It is not supported on Firefox, Safari, Edge, or any other browser.

5. Service availability

We aim for the extension and our license-check server to be available 24/7, but we don't promise uptime. If our server is briefly unavailable, the extension continues to work using its cached license for up to 72 hours.

6. Liability

GridGrabber is provided "as is." We're a small team doing our best, but we can't be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the extension — including, for example, incorrect exports or decisions made based on grabbed data. Double-check your spreadsheets.

7. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we'll email subscribers at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that counts as acceptance.

Our privacy policy lives on its own page: privacy.html.
